This policy applies to the iOS application FocusMono. The following content explains how the current version handles your data and how you can manage it.
FocusMono is an iOS application designed to help users manage focus tasks, focus timing, theme appearance, and local data backup. This privacy policy explains how FocusMono handles your data in the current version and how you can manage it.
The current version does not provide a self-built account system and does not require you to register a separate account. Unless you actively enable iCloud sync or use Apple's in-app purchase capabilities, your usage data is stored locally on your device by default.
To provide focus and task management capabilities, FocusMono stores the following content locally on your device:
When you purchase Pro benefits through the App Store, transaction information including purchase, renewal, refund, and restore purchase is handled by Apple's App Store and StoreKit system. FocusMono itself does not store your bank card, payment password, or complete payment credentials.
Local Storage: Your tasks, focus records, statistics, and preferences are stored locally on your device by default. The app supports exporting current snapshots and local database files for your own backup.
iCloud Sync: If you actively enable iCloud sync in Settings, FocusMono will write the current data snapshot to your own Apple ID's private iCloud space (using Apple CloudKit technology) and support downloading from that private space to overwrite local data. Avatar images are also saved and synced with the settings snapshot. This cloud data is controlled by your Apple account, stored in your private iCloud container, and will not be publicly shared or accessed by other users.
Data Security: All data is protected using standard encryption technology provided by Apple during transmission and storage.
Export Data: You can export backups and database files on the app's "Data" page for your own storage or data migration.
Delete Local Data: You can clear locally stored tasks, statistics, and preferences on the app's "Data" page. Deleted data cannot be recovered, please proceed with caution.
Manage iCloud Data: If you have enabled iCloud sync, after disabling this feature, the app will stop subsequent syncing. You can also manage related cloud data in Apple's iCloud management capabilities (Settings → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → FocusMono).
Delete App: If you delete the FocusMono app, all local data will be cleared. iCloud data remains in your iCloud account, and you can delete it through Apple's iCloud management interface.
Account Note: Since the current version does not have a self-built account system, there is no separate account data that requires a separate "account deletion" request. All data is stored on your device locally or in your iCloud account.
If you are a minor, we recommend that you use FocusMono's related features after your guardian understands and agrees to this policy content. Guardians should help minors understand the importance of data management and assist them in making appropriate data management decisions.
FocusMono uses the following system services provided by Apple, which are independently operated and managed by Apple:
These services are independently operated by Apple, and FocusMono does not send additional personal information to these services. You can refer to Apple's privacy policy to understand how these services handle data.
If FocusMono's data processing methods undergo substantial changes, we will synchronously update this policy through app version updates, in-app text, or other reasonable means. For major changes, we will clearly prompt you in the app to review the updated policy.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or need help managing your data, we recommend contacting through the developer's publicly available contact information in the App Store and your support channels, and noting the app name and version number in your feedback for faster problem resolution.
